A wake up call – sleep means everything for your energy. All of the body’s and the mind’s energy-producing processes regenerate when you sleep. And your emotional health, your physical health and your immune system rely upon you getting enough quality sleep. Adequate quality sleep is one of the strongest stress buffers know to us.

For Cal it was hard to accept that it is okay to nap in the middle of the day, but he learned – and quickly felt – how his body just needed more rest and restitution during his treatment. A good night’s sleep and a nap in the middle of the day is probably the most powerful way of recharging our batteries.

It is important to sometimes slow down and really listen to your body and mind. It feels great and it pays off – both before, during and after cancer.

This site will continually bring inspiration and information to you in the form of videos with Chris and Cal, statements from cancer experts and cutting edge research within cancer.
